DAY TO SHINE EVENTS - Motivational Speakers, free: haircuts, makeovers, manicures, pedicures, massages, clothing, resumes, free bank accounts, college applications and financial aid staff from several colleges, Aetna Chips/Medical Services applications, gift bags, lunch, prizes, cars, car repairs, and much more. Events open to any women and children only. You can only bring your own children to the Day To Shine Event. You may not bring anyone else's children unless their mother is accompanying them.Volunteers are needed to help at each event.

We need the following help

4-5 Hairstylists
5-8 Helpers in the kitchen with the meal - report to Yvonne Miller when you arrive
2-4 Helpers with signing up moms at hair cut and manicure stations.
15 Adults helping with youth, you can bring your children over 12 to help also
10- Adults doing manicures and pedicures.
4 - Greater's at the door, to show the moms where to start getting services
4-8 Men in Security must be 18 or older and report to Steve and wear a black T Shirt.
10 - Floaters who will work in any area we need them.
2 - Massage therapists
1-2 helpers on resumes or job skill training.
2 ladies helping our Wardrobe Consultant make outfits for the moms

GROUP COUNSELING - on the 1st and 3rd Monday at BWF Center. Private counseling available.

EDUCATION OFFERED – ESL, LIFT Literacy and Computer Classes, College Tuition and Ged Trainging at BWF Willman Center on Saturdays, Call BWF office to sign up 817-427-0720
