BWF Expands Facilities -

Battered Women’s Foundation is proud to announce that we have purchased the “Emily Bondy Educational Center” at 4164 Willman, next door to our current Willman Center.

The Battered Women's Foundation's Open House and Ribbon Cutting of The Emily Bondy Educational Center on September 26, 2009 was a huge success.

Local Mayors, Dignitaries, friends, partners, community volunteers from local chambers, churches, women's clubs, and corporate sponsors attended this event. The Battered Women's Foundation is honored to have this new Educational Center for our clients. What a difference education will make in the lives of our families for generations to come.

It has been open about a month and we already have 7 classes per week, and 25-30 students and children attending. This is a huge door for us and we are once again excited to see so many lives changed in the local community.

We received a special donation from Verizon Foundation to help us get our education started.
