Warblers
Warblers migrate through Colorado in the Spring and Fall.
There are several great Migrant Traps:
- Crow Valley Campground on Pawnee National Grasslands; Weld County
This small riparian area attracts some great migrating warblers.
- Bonny Reservoir & Hale Ponds; Yuma County
Another great migrant trap for Western & Eastern Warblers.
- Lamar Community College; Prowers County
The woods behind the college are a great migrant trap.
- Two Buttes Reservoir; Baca County
Small riparian area below the dam is super!
- Barr Lake; Adams County
Especially trees between mile marker 0.0/9.0 to 8.0.
- Fort Lyons Wildlife Area; Bent County
Especially group of trees:
1. CR 16 & CR HH
2. Cr 16 & CR JJ
3. Along CR 16; 1.5 miles East of CR 19
