Flocks wander around much.
- Buena Vista Overlook; Chaffee County
One of the most reliable locations to find PIJA.
I usually check overlook near sunrise or sunset.
If birds are not here, look to KOA campground
below the overlook (to the north).
Also drive road going north from overlook.
PIJA also found along gravel roads to the south.
- Colorado National Monument
Check campgrounds next to Visitor's Center!
Also check the draw just inside the Northern Entrance
(Draw goes west from pond).
