Northern Bobwhite
Northern Bobwhite are found in thicket areas on the Eastern Plains
- DePoorter Lake, Julesburg, Sedgwick County
Search in the hill southeast of the parking area at the
southwest corner of the Lake. The area never fails to
produce a NOBO sighting.
- Hale Ponds Area of Bonny Reservoir, Yuma County
Check under bushes around the many ponds here.
