Best locations to check:
1. Highway 14 & Weld County Road 51 (all four corners).
2. Driveway along Hwy 14; 0.7 miles East of CR 51
(Check field to southwest of driveway; please do not
block the driveway; private property, do not enter).
3. Weld County Road 51 & 90 (northeast corner).
4. Northwest corner of Weld County Roads 94 & 61.
5. Drive or walk up gravel road which leads North from
Weld County Roads 92 & 65.
- Comanche National Grasslands; Baca County
Check the field across from the Washington Work Center
along Highway 385; 7.0 miles South of Springfield, CO.
It is legal to drive into this field, Pasture G
(leave gate as is; open or close).
Please be careful of nesting birds and Burrowing Owls.
