Uncommon in cattails in marshy areas
- Lower Latham Reservoir; Weld County
Cattails along CR 48 along the south side of the reservoir
have more MAWR than any other location I have discovered.
- Cherry Creek Reservoir; Arapahoe County
Cattails at the southern end of the beaver pond,
south of the 12-mile picnic area parking lot are
always good for one or two MAWR.
Also check cattails near bridge along hiking path that
runs East from the parking area at Cottonwood Creek Loop.
- Walden Ponds
Cattails west of parking area, usually have one or two wrens.
