Locally common nesters.
- Chatfield Reservoir; Jefferson County
I count many nesting pairs while hiking from
Kingfisher Bridge to Waterton Canyon Bridge.
(Most found at southern end of hike by walking
to the South Platte River from the Discovery Pavilion).
- Gregory Canyon; Boulder County
Several pairs nest along the creek from
Baseline Road to the parking area and South.
- Crow Valley Campground; Weld County
A few birds can be observed along Crow Creek in the campground.
