Gambel's Quail
GAQU are found in Western Colorado:
- Colorado National Monument; Mesa County
At first and last light, check the draws just outside of the
Southern Entrance to the park. Also check the first picnic
area just inside the southern entrance.
Another location is around the pond just inside the northern
entrance to the park.
- Corn Lake State Park; Mesa County
Quite a few GAQU are found in the thickets and around
the ponds in this State Park.
