9. My Favorite Music Videos
a. The Kelly Family - Flip A Coin
A German band. They have hauntingly beautiful melodies and their lyrics are quite touching.
An incredibly beautiful song presented by Amy Lee's mesmerizingly gorgeous voice.
Such a sweet song, and I just love Dolores' voice.
I really like her music video on this song. Being relatively new to the music business, one of the comments she made was how excited she got one day while grocery shopping because they were playing this very song on the supermarket sound system, so she had a big smile on her face as she was pushing her cart through the vegetable section. And then not too long ago I was at Taco Bell and they happened to be playing this song, and I also started (quietly and discreetly) jumping up and down while saying, "Oooh! Oooh! I know this song!" I started getting excited for her, too. :p She has such a great voice, I hope she does well. Best of luck to her. :)
One of the most incredible Scottish singers ever! Ever!!!
-- okay so I only know two Scottish singers. :p But still, that
minor detail notwithstanding, her amazing stage presence and knack for
live performance coupled with the use of that little recording, sound-looping,
box-thing that she keeps stepping on in the video on the left that allowed
her to turn her performance into a one-woman band of sorts for that show
was quite unique and was the song that initially got me hooked on to her.
It certainly caught my attention the very first time I realized those background
vocals weren't coming from backup singers but were actually her own voice
repeating by itself through that gizmo. She reminds me of a young
Chrissie Hynde, in a way.

Suddenly I See |
The other guitar-playing Scottish lass with an impressive voice.
Her plaintive lyrics and husky sound with just a faint hint of that Scottish
burr seems just like the type of tunes to play when nothing seems to be
going right in the world and you just want to shut yourself in your dark
room while waiting for things to get better.

g. Sasha - Please, Please, Please
From Germany. He's got a cute video with a bit of a sense of humor thrown in (reminds me of the times when I think I sound really good whenever I pretend I'm singing!), a soothing voice, and a nice beat to go along with it.
