Sal Mineo, born in NY Jan. 10, 1939; 5"7", 138 lbs, is best known for his role in "Rebel Without A Cause" (1955)--which he costarred in with James Dean and Natalie Wood.
He portrayed a drummer in the 1959 movie
"The Gene Krupa Story. -Sal could actually play the drums.  In 1960  he had a role in the movie "Exodus" for which he got a nomination for best supporting actor.
