I met Troy at our Roy Rogers festival in June. He was a very nice and friendly gentleman. So eager to please his fans! Very enjoyable to all! He is in the picture with my brother Gene Picklesimer. Troy was at the festival because we invite new stars every year. We have had many here in our little hometown. It's a celebration in honor of Roy Rogers. Troy was at the big dinner of the stars. That's where I met him. He just came right over when my brother called him over. He was just as downhome as your neighbor next door! Really sweet and he commented on not wanting to ruin my picture with him in it! He was so gracious! A big smile on his face all evening. It was a delightful eve for us all!
