The front suspension is from a 77 GMC 1/2 ton, 2WD, which gives it disk front brakes, and power steering. I used as much as possible from the donor truck including steering column, power master cylinder/pedal assy, fuse panel, wiring harness, shift linkage and probably a few other things I've forgotten.
This is a 53 COE model 5700 which I dragged home from up near the ocean this past summer. I don't
have any current plans for it, but I just didn't want to see it slowly disolved by the salt air
where it was sitting. It's mostly complete except for the SS (shiney shit or stainless steel)
which ever you prefer. There is an extra 2-speed rear end and rear frame section stacked on the
back from a similar truck. I also have extra drive shafts, center supports, and various other parts which were stuffed in the cab and laying around the truck.
