A Taste of the Great Outdoors

Get into the beautiful Colorado high country on a mountain bike, horseback, or by hiking. Take an exciting rafting trip through thrilling Colorado rivers. Get the feel of the real West by climbing aboard a horse-drawn wagon or stagecoach. Or take a spectacular balloon ride above it all. There's never a lack of something to do during our glorious summer time!

High-Altitude Awareness

Be prepared for Colorado's ever-changing weather conditions. Afternoon thunderstorms are common in summer; bring a windbreaker or sweatshirt, even on warm days. At high-altitude, dehydration sets in rapidly. Always carry plenty of water and do not drink from alpine river, lakes or streams. And always tell someone where you are going and when you expect to return.
