Jim Henry - Guitar, Vocals
“It’s all about playing with emotion and from your heart”. “People can tell when someone is insincere. I know I can” That’s Jim’s philosophy of guitar playing.
Jim began playing guitar in front of audiences at the age of 14 and 2003 marks his 30th year of performing. His influences are a who’s who of guitar greats, Clapton, Page, Townsend, and Hendrix to name a few. And these giants lead him to his great love of the Blues. B.B. & Albert King, Muddy Waters and Stevie Ray Vaughan can also be heard in Jim’s unique playing style. His vast collection of guitars affords him a sonic arsenal that has to be heard to be believed.
Blue Rhythm is the perfect outlet for Jim. As he says, ”We have an ability to go to places within our music that other groups only dream of, and when the audience comes along for the ride it’s special”

Russ Nardi - Bass Guitar, Vocals
Since learning how to play the Mandolin (a nice traditional Italian instrument) at the age of 10, Russ has been pursuing music at every level. From the first band that he played lead guitar in junior high school to playing Bass in Blue Rhythm, he has provided sounds that people have enjoyed. Russ has the ability to fill in where most bass players give up. His bass influences include James Jamerson, Jack Bruce, Donald “Duck” Dunn, Paul McCartney and John Entwistle all of whom used that unique way of filling in the groove. Over the years, his playing has been refined and balanced to provide that chest pounding bottom end that keeps you glued to the dance floor. Using a variety of vintage basses and state of the art amps, Russ has a way of getting the bass feel from Blues to Rock & more but most of all, he has the necessary soul of a bass player!
