While there aren't too many grain elevators deep in the Appalachian mountains, I included one anyway.  I will be using grain elevator pieces from Rix Products, mixed and matched for the space I have, and detailed a little more.  I plan on scratchbuilding a shed for truck unloading, and hope to get a hold of a GHQ grain trailer (they went out of production just as I realized that I wanted one, of course), or kitbash one.  The track will be ballasted with cinders (black), the area around the grain elevator and the drive will be gravel, and some ground foam will be used to simulate weeds in the ballast and gravel.

As with the dump loader, this scene is in a relatively small area, and the structures have been mostly assembled, so this will also be one of the first few scenes to be finished.
