JUST A NOTE ABOUT MY MOTIVATION: Over the years I've published this calendar, I've met many wonderful
Ragdoll lovers and enjoyed exchanging e-mails and telephone conversations with each one. I publish this
calendar for you as a labor of love. I am a breast cancer survivor and want to contribute something
beautiful to this world. To the extent the calendar makes any money at all, we will and do use it for
Ragdoll Rescue and to help fund a small part of the International Ragdoll Congresses which are held every
other year and attract Ragdoll lovers from all over the world! We charge nothing to include your Ragdoll's
photos in our calendar. It really all began when I realized there was no pet book available for Ragdoll cat
lovers to read and enjoy. So, enlisting the aid of my Ragdolls' breeder for technical information, I
spent my weekends writing the book and taking the photographs for Guide to Owning A Ragdoll Cat. It was my
dream. All the while, I worked at my "day job," and I continue to do so (working plenty of overtime, of course!).
Without it, I could never fund this calendar for you! After Guide to Owning A Ragdoll Cat was purchased
and published in 1997 by TFH, Inc., I had extra photos left. So, I used them in 1997 to publish the first-ever
Ragdoll cat calendar in the world, which I entitled, "1998 Ragdoll Cat Wall Calendar." Now, it is you and
other Ragdoll lovers like you who make this calendar a reality each year. I couldn't do it without you,
and I wouldn't want to. You have enriched my life. Yes, it takes us an extraordinary amount
of time and energy to receive, sort and edit your photos, paste up the calendar and get it published, and
receive and process the orders, but we do it because we love Ragdoll cats and kittens and want to share their
magic with others. Most importantly, we want to make you smile each day of 2001! Why? Because each day
is a gift! The calendar's Ragdoll photos help us start each day with a smile! We hope they do the same for
you!
