Science Enrichment Modules
For you to explore, learn and enjoy collecting Minnesota rocks, fossils & minerals

Science Enrichment Modules are correlated to Minnesota Academic Standards and feature inquiry and activities pertinent to earth and life sciences. All modules are custom tailored to each of three grade groups— K-4, 5-8 and 9-12 —to open the door of discovery to all ages.

The modules are packed with hands-on activities to make learning fun for students by bringing the subject matter to life. Students gain important knowledge by performing exciting exercises and creating authentic collections in the classroom. With Science Enrichment Modules, students become active participants in the learning process.

The current list contains more than ten modules relating to geology, fossils, native metals, Astronomy and scouting achievement awards. Many modules have a companion 120-piece Classroom Project Packet© or a 6-piece classroom collection, which are available for purchase separately. Project Packets are a perfect, inexpensive solution to stretching the materials budget. Individual hand specimens are also available for purchase.

There is a nominal fee of $75, plus mileage, for a single 45-minute Science Enrichment Module Presentation. The rate for multiple sessions is negotiable.
