This Swiss military 8x30 was made by Nedinsco, formerly a Dutch subsidiary of Zeiss.  It is constructed from aluminum (or similar alloy) and brass.  The Swiss cross is engraved on the body.  This model appears to be derived from the Zeiss Deltrentis with the addition of sliding eyecups.  The optics are not coated (it was made before antireflection coatings were introduced).

The Nedinsco 8x30 has good wide field performance for its time.  The image is fairly well corrected for distortion though it is a bit soft at the edge.  The eye lens has a convex surface.  The sliding eyecups are a nice feature though the eye relief is still inadequate to see the whole field with glasses.
