Stripperella
On--For Now
Only Four Episodes Produced

Created by Stan Lee, Stripperella stars Pamela
Anderson as Erotica Jones, an exotic dancer who leads a double life as
super secret agent 69. Set in a near-future Los Angeles, this animated
series finds Stripperella squaring off against a cadre of villains with
the aide of unique, high-tech gadgets such as the all-purpose Laser-Lipstick.
The full color Stripperella comic was in stores
in early June. It is written by Stan Lee, illustrated by Harry Cane, and
features a cover by Cameron Stewart. The Stripperella comic is 32 pages
long and priced at $2.95.
Stripperella premiered June 26th. If
the show is a big hit, it will probably continue, but if not, it appears
doomed. According to the website Animation HQ only four episodes
were produced before the crew was laid-off. This doesn't necessarily
mean that no further episodes will be produced, but it certainly isn't
a good sign. So tune in and check out Stripperella. Typically, as
in the case with Futurama, once an animation crew is disbanded, like Humpty-Dumpty,
it's not easy to put it back together again.
