William Cobb

William Cobb's novels are set in the deep South. They range from traditional realism (A WALK THROUGH FIRE) to Magical realism (A SPRING OF SOULS). He is currently working on his seventh novel, THE LAST QUEEN OF THE GYPSIES. A new edition of his second novel, The HERMIT KING, which contains five new short stories and an introduction by Bert Hitchcock, was recently published. His first novel, COMING OF AGE AT THE Y, will be reissued in a new edition in the spring of 08.
