Drawings
I began drawing from my imagination at a very early age. It was at the School of the Museum of
Fine Arts in Boston, where I acquired a passion for studying the figure from life. Years of
studying anatomy and dissecting cadavers at Harvard and Boston University Medical Schools
prepared me with the knowledge to freely compose with the figure. Now I find that to work
exclusively from life tends to disrupt the thinking process. Drawing for me is a bridge between
the imagination and three-dimensional art.
