David was born in Warrington York Co PA January 4, 1771. David was
the son of Isaac Beals and Hannah Jones. David died November 29,
1870 in Jonesborough Wash Co TN, at 99 years of age. His body was
interred November 30, 1870 at Fairview Cemetery, Jonesborough TN.
He married twice. He married Rachel West March 18, 1794 in Jefferson Co
TN. Rachel was born June 19, 1776 Laudon Co VA. Rachel was the daughter
of Thomas West and Rachel Oliphant. Rachel died July 7, 1840 Washington
Co TN, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred July 8, 1840 at Fairview
Cemetery, Jonesborough TN.
He married Elizabeth Mitchell Nelson Greene Co TN, February 11, 1841. She was a
widow with 2 children. Elizabeth was born October 6, 1810 in Tennessee.
Elizabeth was the daughter of Unknown Mitchell. She married Nathan Nelson
Washington Co TN, October 8, 1828. Elizabeth died July 7, 1874 Washington
Co TN, at 63 years of age.

i. Hannah was born Washington Co TN May 26, 1796, Hannah died June 1, 1874,
Chucky Greene Co Tn at 78 years of age. Her body was interred June 2, 1874
Chuckey Greene Co TN, New Hope Quaker Cemetery. She married John Marshall
Greene Co TN August 18, 1820.
ii. Isaac Beals was born Washington Co TN January 19, 1798.
Isaac died Infancy 1798 Washington Co TN, at less than
one year of age.
iii. Thomas Beals was born Washington Co TN February 13, 1799.
Thomas died February 28, 1857 Newton Jasper Co IA, at 58
years of age. His body was interred March 1, 1857 Newton
Jasper Co IA, Center Friends Cemetery. He married
Margaret Brown Washington Co TN, March 18, 1820.
iv. Rachel Beals was born Washington Co TN March 26, 1801.
Rachel died 1884 Greene Co TN, at 83 years of age. Rachel
age 77 in 1880 Census, Greene Co TN, was living with her
children Ira 56, Miriam 34. Her body was interred 1884
Greene Co TN, New Hope Quaker Church. She married Isaac
Brown Washington Co TN, Aug 16 1821.
v. David Jr Beals was born Washington Co TN March 30, 1803.
David died March 6, 1895 Griswold Cass Co IA, at 91 years
of age. His body was interred March 7, 1895 Griswold Cass
Co IA, Wheelers Grove Cemetery. He married twice, Rachel
Hammer January 25, 1826 Washington Co TN, and Mary C Ellison.
vi. Samuel Beals was born Washington Co TN April 11, 1805. He
married Nancy Mitchell Washington Co TN, October 12, 1826.
Nancy was born 1808 in Tennessee. Nancy was the daughter of
Unknown Mitchell.
vii. Elizabeth was born Washington Co TN May 18, 1807. Elizabeth died January 7, 1872
Washington Co TN, at 64 years of age. Her body was interred January 8, 1872
Washington Co TN, Fairview Cemetery. She married William Mitchell Washington CO TN,
January 5, 1837.
viii. Caleb was born Washington Co TN November 30, 1809. Caleb died 1880 Newton Jasper
Co IA, at 70 years of age. His body was intered 1880 Newton jasper Co IA, Center
Friends Cemetery. He married Margaret Irvin Washington Co TN, April 18, 1831.
ix. Jacob Beals was born Washington Co TN January 16, 1812.
Jacob died April 22, 1906 IA, at 94 years of age. He
married Ruth Morgan April 28, 1838.
x. Isaac Hammer Beals was born Washington Co TN May 7, 1814.
He married Nancy Mulkey Washington Co TN, October 20, 1836.
xi. Abraham was born Washington Co TN October 29, 1816. Abraham died February 6, 1900
at 83 years of age. He married twice. He married Sarah Hammer Washington Co TN,
February 2, 1837. He married Abigail Morgan Jly 29, 1855.
xii. Catherine was born Washington Co TN January 13, 1819. She married Robert Mitchell
Washington Co TN, August 2, 1838.
xiii. Jerusha was born Washington Co TN July 27, 1823. She married Hezakiah Jones Washington
Co TN, September 23, 1843.
David Beals and Elizabeth Mitchell had the following children:

November 10, 1841. She married Isaac Diehl

xv. Catharine (Nancy) was born Washington Co TN June 7, 1842. She married Josiah Wilson
Washington Co TN, September 16, 1869.
xvi. Marshall Beals was born Washington Co TN September
2, 1845. Marshall died July 3, 1860 Washington Co TN, at
14 years of age.
xvii. Martha Beals was born Washington Co TN May 20, 1847. Martha
died January 9, 1879 Washington Co TN, at 31 years of age.
Her body was interred January 10, 1879 Washington Co TN,
Fairview Cemetery. She married Benjamin Garst Washington Co TN
September 7, 1871. Benjamin was born Apr 25 1850 Washington Co TN.
Benjamin, he was the son of Joel Garst. He married Mary Frances
Archer Washington Co TN, Feb 19 1882. Benjamin died Jan 27 1928
in Jonesborough Wash Co TN, at 77 years of age.
xviii. West Beals was born Washington Co TN August 22, 1849. West died June 7, 1933
Washington Co TN at 83 years of age. He married twice. He married Mary C Wilcox
Washington Co TN November 14, 1872. He married Hannah Eliza Lovegrove Washington
Co TN February 12, 1885.
xix. William Mitchell Beals was born Washington Co TN June 2, 1851.
William died January 16, 1886 Washington Co TN, at 34 years of age.
His body was interred January 17, 1886 at Fairview Cemetery.
