" A Magic Moment "

Magic is just a kid; a young male Lilac Crowned Amazon Parrot born in 1997. Magic lives with Merlin, also a Lilac Crowned Amazon, who is 18 years older than he is.( Her former companion died in surgery.) We share in his misadventures interacting with the pet humans in the house, as well as Merlin. His monthly column shares his perceptions with us as he experiences the world from a bird's eye view. For the scientists among you, they are both "amazona woodi". Magic is a Rowdybush boy!

Needs 12 hours of undisturbed sleep per day, lots of good hardwood branches to chew on, lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, plenty of exercise and lots of love. Even clipped, this bird can fly!
