RETURN TO THE: BIBLE PAPER HOME PAGE
This
paper discusses the book of Luke. The
gospel emphasizes the Son of man teaching in its biography of Jesus. Luke was most likely a two volume book of
Luke 1:1-24:53 and Acts 1:1-28:31. Luke
traveled with Paul as well as learning about Jesus from many eye-witnesses of
His life. All scriptures are from the
King James' version Bible.
Zechariah
6:12-13 "And speak unto him, saying, Thus
speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The
BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build
the temple of the LORD: {13} Even he shall build the temple of the LORD;
and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne;
and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be
between them both."

1:1-4 "Forasmuch as many have taken
in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most
surely believed among us, {2} Even as they delivered them unto us, which
from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; {3}
It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things
from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent
Theophilus, {4} That thou mightest know the certainty of those things,
wherein thou hast been instructed."
