Jesus taught: "Consider the wildflowers, they do not toil or spin, yet Solomon in all his splendor was not arrayed like one of these." The people of his day got their clothes from those who were spinning yarn from wool, goat's hair, camel's hair, cotton, or flax (linen). They did not have cheap dyes to match the vivid colors of some these elegantly arrayed anemones that turned towards the light clothed in vivid attire. Many people worried alot about being able to afford their clothes in those days. These wildflowers that sprang up after the winter rains did not lack a beautiful appearance.
