This hill across the street and to the side
of the Damascus Gate of the Old City has been described as a probable site of Golgotha,
the skull shaped hill. The other probable site was the church of the
Holy Sepulcher
that was begun during the time of Constantine in the fourth
century and is currently within the walls of Jerusalem. This hill is behind the Arab bus station in East Jerusalem across the street from the Turkish walls of the Old City and "Solomon's Quarries".
