Theme sheets – 50 points
Each group
will prepare a Theme Sheet for two of the following themes. This is what you must do for this part of
the assignment
1. Brainstorm everything you can find in your notes, study
guides, and the book concerning your topic.
Put your brainstorming into either chronological order or by topic on a
handout for the rest of the class.
2. Write two or three essay questions concerning your topic
and then generate generalizations that could serve as thesis statements to
answer your question for the periods that we have studied so far. Prepare an outline for each of your
questions complete with the historical evidence that you would use to support
your thesis statement.
3. On Friday, December 12, each pair will present their
theme sheets to the class.
