Spring/summer Seals, like National Christmas seals, are issued by the ALA to raise money to fight lung disease. However these seals are issued during the first half of the year instead of at Christmas time. Like National & test design seals, they usually show the double- barred Lorraine cross. Unlike seals issued at Christmas, their designs often depict flowers, hearts or landscapes.
