Betsy & Chuck: Other (Non-Christmas) Seals
The term Christmas Seals generally refers to seals issued by the American
Lung Association ("The Christmas Seal People") and their fore-runners. Many
other types of charity seals exist and all are collectible and fun. Some
examples are:
- Easter Seals
- Boy's Town Seals
- Boy's Ranch Seals
- VFW Seals
- National Wildlife Fund
Many foreign countries have issued Christmas Seals to help in the fight against
tuberculosis. Also many state and local associations have issued seals.
