What is Presbyterian Women?
Presbyterian Women (PW) is a church-wide organization whose membership is open to all women. PW are those who choose to participate in or be supportive of Presbyterian Women in any way. One does not have to be a member of the church to participate in PW. PW intentionally seeks the membership of women from all racial/ethnic groups so that the organization will reflect a vision of the whole church as a community of mutual interdependence in which diversity contributes to wholeness.
PW gives strong support to the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and determines its own leadership, program and budget.

Berwyn's PW currently have three circles. They meet during the months of September through June. Esther, Mary-Martha and Deborah-Ruth Circles meet on the first Wednesday of the month. Esther meets at 7:30pm at a designated location. Mary-Martha and Deborah-Ruth meet during the day at designated locations of their circle members. Each circle is made up of a group of women associated with the church and bound together in Christian love.
At our circle meetings, we strive to fulfill the stated purpose of Presbyterian Women. We gather for prayer, Bible Study, a business meeting and to enjoy each other's hospitality, friendship and support.
All circles unite under the Coordinating Team and support the mission of Presbyterian Women of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We maintain a relationship with Church Women United, supporting the organization through celebration giving, mission interpretation, and church programs. We also participate in our local church's outreach and mission programs and we contribute our time and talents to the church distinctively as members of Presbyterian Women at Berwyn.

Our Current PW Coordinating Team Moderators at the Churchwide, Synod and Presbytery levels are:

We are in Cluster E of Presbyterian Women in the National Capital Presbytery. The liaison between the Coordinating Team of PW at Berwyn and the Coordinating Team of PW in the NCP is the Cluster Enabler. Alma Rimmer is our Enabler. She is a member of the Church of the Redeemer.
