She walks, does aerobics, likes to ski and swim for exercise, and listens to music and attends cultural events to relax. She enjoys working in the yard on her flowers and vegetable gardens.
In Pastor Renée's own words:
"My passion for ministry comes from walking with God, from worshiping with the community of faith and from sharing the Divine Redeemer with anyone who is searching. I encourage others to join me in this faith journey through teaching Bible classes, promoting various prayer methods, leading varied liturgical and contemporary worship services, serving others in the community and nurturing my own personal spiritual development."
My Beliefs
"God is the source of all things. This eternal, triune God chooses to be both active and personally involved in our world. We were created in God's image yet alienated ourselves from God's love. God took the initiative in redeeming this relationship. I believe Jesus, as human, experienced human pain and suffering and yet as God overcame eternal death. The Incarnate Word, who died on the cross and rose again, reestablished the covenant relationship between God and all creation. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, I am reconciled to God by faith. The work of the Holy Spirit acts as comforter, encourager, intercessor and teacher within our individual lives and corporate church structure. The Holy Spirit convicts us of sin, assures us of our salvation, and opens our eyes to social injustice. The Holy Spirit lives within every believer, giving each one spiritual gifts to help the church collectively become more like Christ."
