A(b) (A* on Survivors Map) -

Pennsylvania Railroad Class B1 #5690 at the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg.  This box motor was restored the last time I looked.

It was built in the Pennsy's Altoona Shops in 1934 and was purchased from the Penn Central Corp. in Dec 1979.

The Museum also has Pennsylvania Railroad DD1 pair #3936-3937, Juniata, 1911, a gift of the Penn Central Corp. in Dec 1979 (unrestored).   new.gif (23 Apr 03)
