Clifton, Ella and sons resided in Lorain County, but by 1910 were in Mishwaka, St. Joseph County, Indiana where Clifton was an engineer in a rubber factor. Also in the household was Hans Hanson, a shoemaker in a rubber factory. It is likely that Clifton died for on 27 July 1910 Ella married Hans. He was born in September 1884 in Michigan, and thus was 14 years younger than Ella. His parents were Ole and Marie/Mary (Harrison) Hanson who were in Muskegon County in the 1900 federal census. George, Pearl and children, including one-year-old Janet, born in Michigan, were in Walton, Eaton County, Michigan where George was a carpenter.
