Strategy:

First, let me give credit where credit is due and say that although I've seen decks like this one played around Gainesville, I got this particular design from the Dragon Fang page. I've made modifications based on what I know people around Gainesville play and what cards I own.

The point of this deck is to spread out in space and drain while making your opponent lose force from AFA and OTE. If they try to come battle you, you deny them the battle using Landing Claws and Rebel Barrier. Around Gainesville, TIE decks are becoming popular so I may switch to another starting effect, but for now I start with Yavin and Haven so that my ships can get down fast and cheap. R2 and Artoo coupled with A Gift help to stop the ever-popular JP drain deck, and Droid Shutdown helps to protect that combo from Sniper, Weequay Marksmen, and Hutt Smooch. The It's A Hits are for protection against Tallon Roll, but if it becomes obvious that the opponent is staying on the ground, they are great for canceling a particularly nasty force drain. As usual with LS space decks, I try not to get too spread out unless I have Houjix in hand. One last note - make sure to Rebel Barrier the ship that is deployed and not the pilot - it would be very easy for your opponent to simply deploy another pilot into the ship and kick the hooey out of you (er - not that I would make such a mistake, but I just thought I'd warn you).
