Strategy:
This deck is fairly simple: drain, fight, retrieve. However, there are
some nuances that need to be pointed out. Starting effect should be
chosen carefully, depending on what you think your opponent is trying to
do: Numbers=>Resistance, M&T or HB=>Bad Feeling Have I, Force Drain bonus
decks (ie: clouds, EBO)=>Imperial Decree. Try to flip your objective
ASAP and start to drain like mad, forcing them to come fight your Walkers
and Mains. In my varied experiences against HB, I have enough ships to
successfully probe and not get totally creamed, and I've got enough
ground strength to deal with HB ground. The deck is very versatile and
has done well against almost anything else (I suspect AS sanctuary could
be give me trouble, but the drains get very huge once the objective is
flipped). This deck started as a Hoth Garrison but TPIFF destroyed
that, thus the current diversity in planet sites.
The objective is really hard to flip and the steady retrieval, probably about 12 a game, can eek out a close game. "Here come the Men in Black"--eat your heart out Will Smith.
