Incom Corp is one of the hot new Light Side card that has shifted the balance (perhaps a bit early) to the rebellion. While I disagree that the Light Side was never more powerful than the Dark Side in this theater, this card is indeed one of the more powerful in Special Edition and perhaps the game.
Incom Corp is an Effect that must deploy to a rebel base interior location. Once deployed, it has titanic effects, making T-16s, T-47s, Z-95s, and X-Wings power +2 and ability 2.
Special Edition has also brought about other cards to make space more powerful. Now there is a "Bacta Tank" for starships, and Wind Chimes for star fighters, cards that add immunity to attrition, and other power ups like S-Foils. Combine this with old stuff like EBO, and Rebel Planners (which also was revived via SE) and space just became the Light Side dominant front.
The fact that Incom must be deployed on a Rebel Base Interior location may seem like a drawback, but if played correctly it is not. One of the best starting locations is the Echo Base War Room, which conveniently also happens to be an Interior Rebel Base location. This allows you to use The Signal to get Incom Corp out from the beginning. It is also nice that Mon Mothma just so happens to work magic at a War Room as well.
Throw in a few droids and 3 or 4 How did We Get Into This Mess' and you could get this party hoppin' in no time. This is actually a great way to get EBO going in a hurry and allows you the flexibility of not stocking as many duplicates of sites and systems in the deck.
What all this allows you to do is spread thin with fewer worries. Instead of 4 X-wings being needed to draw battle destiny, now only 2 are needed. Add the power bonuses and you could have between 10 and 20+ power just between 2 X-Wings. Now talk about dropping the hammer... Who would have thought a few X-Wings could put the hurt on an Imperial Star Destroyer.
I believe we have the makings of something ridiculously powerful... perhaps too powerful. Hopefully Decipher will make a Magic Bullet in a later set to cancel many of these cards or beef-up the Imperial Armada. Until then, it looks like the Light Side will be dominating the Space lanes.
