We're Doomed


This is perhaps one of the most overlooked cards in the game. It's power is subtle because it can't be used until the late game. It is even more potent in a 40 card Junior environement and can be just as potent in 60 card decks.

We're Doomed is a destiny 5 used interrupt that does soemthing useful. This makes it worth a second look right off the bat. This card cuts drains in half if you have less than 15 cards in your force. If Artoo or C3PO on the table, you can round those drain down (round them up otherwise).

So what does this mean? It means that all those force drains of one now are zero, and all those drains of two or three now are drains of one (if Threepio or Artoo are on the table). Pretty strong. Plus, late in the game, you can track this destiny Five to cause havok in a battle of something.

There is a trick to this card though. It can't be played until your opponent takes an action in his control phase. Now, this will probably be a force drain so you would still have to lose from the initial drain. If the player is smart, they will drain at the highest drain first. If not (or if they traffic control or something else) your in luck.
