Well I know some of you out there are heading off to a Bespin and Beyond tournament soon so here is #5 in the series called 'B&B: Tips and Tricks'. These posts will highlight a potential strategy you might find yourself playing against and how to combat it. This time lets look at a potential strategy we will probably see the Dark side play.

Halt, Who Goes There. No Rebels Allowed

The Trick:
In the upcoming tournaments the Dark side will just love to keep EPP’s and company out of their Jabba’s Palace fortress of solitude with None Shall Pass. All the while draining from there secluded locations with Galid and Ev99.

None Shall Pass presents dark a powerful opportunity to force the Light side to waste force and to make poor tactical decisions (the common misconception is that you deploy outside and move in. -absolute tactical lunacy). In the hands of an experienced player it becomes even more potent by letting only one rebel through at a time and when combined with projective telepathy and the natural force advantage of Jabba’s Palace severely limits the Light Side offensive capabilities. The card itself destiny 5 and the new ease with which to track it increases Darks Offensive capabilities considerably.

Don’t loose hope though there are several methods for shutting down this deck lets take a look at some of them.

Rebel? Who’s a Rebel I’m a Alien. Them? They’re Just My Friends, They’re With Me.

The Tip:
To avoid him:

To fight Him try:

Hey all said and done just stay away from him, block his drains, and fortify your locations for his inevitable attack. Pack a couple of It’s a Trap to cancel his courageous charge then come down next turn and mop the floor with your main men.

In short lure him out of his fortress of solitude.

I hope this helps. Don’t forget to look for more in this series. And please don’t mail me saying I’m a _____ for ruining your deck idea. How rude I am for posting this stuff etc. Just adapt, improve, and evolve.
