THIRD GENERATION: THIRD GENERATION
François Baudouin III, born 1741 on St. Domingue. Died November 25, 1808. Husband of  Marianne Toups c. 1747-1795 (daughter of  Jean Frederick Toups and Anne Barbe Strimphel) Most records indicate that Catherine Petrimiche (Petrimide) was the mother of François III, but since François II was married to Marie Jeanne Carelle at the time, and Catherine was a widow who married François II in 1769, this is not likely.  I maintain that François III's mother was actually Marie Jeanne Carelle.

François III and Marianne Toups had 7 children:

François IV born 1766, died February 6, 1802. Husband of Rosalie Rome (Daughter of Jean Baptiste Rommel and Marguerite Huber)
Hélène I have no details on this individual
Hyacinthe  I have no details on this individual
Marie-Louise (birth and death dates unknown) married to Andrè Belsom
Pierre  I have no details on this individual
Geneviève Catherine (1756-1797) married first to Andrè Jean Edelmayer  and then to Sebastien Hymel

Note: In Winston Deville's book "Louisiana Soldiers in the American Revolution", François was listed as Francisco Baudouin, as a Regular Fuselier in the German Coast Militia. Whether this unit actually fought the British is a subject for further research. But ladies, if you're wanting DAR membership, this should do it for you.
