Take a few moments to personally wish Ed a Happy 40th on June 6th

Ed agreed to an interview with A WOW representative. Quoted here: WOW: What exactly do you do for AT&T besides take grief from the M-F? ED: Wow, where to begin . First and foremost, I am the Forums Manager, which means that I manage and monitor the newsgroups as well as the FA program. I am also the Customer Advocate which means I get to holler at upper management when I think they are losing sight of the customers. I also help in crafting messages that go the worldnet.announce newsgroup as well as beta test new worldnet features/enhancements. I also provide consulting to the Technical Development teams when they are first designing those new features/enhancements. Although I cannot directly repsond to many of the questions in the newsgroups anymore due to time limitations, I do provide answers to the FAs when they get stumped. I do address policy issues tho (as best I can). WOW: Do you believe the saying that "life begins at 40"? ED: Ask me again when 41 rolls around WOW: What's your favorite color, flower, animal, etc.? ED: My favorite color is red...no blue....no green....arrgghhhh My favorite flower? Hmmm, I love plants and gardening. I really have no favorite as I like them all but I guess I dolt over my rose beds more than anything else. My favorite animal? Thats easy! Squirt, my yorkie! And his new brother now too WOW: When you are reincarnated what (or who) do you want to come back as? ED: A redwood . Tall, massive, long living. WOW: Open question here. Answer as openly as you desire. You supply the answer, I'll supply the question. ED: Well, I'm single, never married. Don't have time for commitments other than Worldnet .
