June 3 Happy Birthday to Judi van der Kaay
A brief sketch by and about Judi:
I live in Cottage Grove, Oregon and work for Weyerhaeuser(for 19 years now)
Also a LPN,
mother of two daughters (Sheppard AFB in Texas and Greenville, North Carolina)
and grandmother of 4.
Starting to get the hang of gardening now that I have slowed down a bit
from working 90 hours a week to about 70.
I enjoy working with my hands: watercolor painting to petit point and other stuff in between.
Animals: ferrets, cats and possums.
Work with a volunteer home-care group for wild life and tend to get the
possums and on occasion a squirrel. Those stay with me for a week or two
before going to another handler and the ultimate goal being release back
to the wild (a safe one away from cars for the possums!).
I have 3 cats and at times a few more depending on how many come by for dinner or a
snack.
I can't think of anything else of great importance other than I will be 58 on the 3rd.....oh mercy me, how that time whizzzzzes by.
