In search of Steam

It is unclear why so much of my train chasing involved narrow gauge lines. Mostly I was looking for steam, and steam seemed to servive longest on ng. systems. Probably because narrow gauge lines were less economic, and therefore less likely to be dieselized. Also, narrow gauge lines seemed to exist where tourists went, like Switzerland and the Hartz mountains in Germany.
