Our Pets
We have three cats, a gerbil, and a 29 gallon tank full of tropical fish. Our cats are named Smokey Max, Precious, and Shadow. Precious is an orange tabby, and the other two are black.

Smokey MaxOur gerbil is named Ginger. She isn't crazy about living with a houseful of cats, but she does love fruit treats. She likes to chew and climb on the bars of her cage. She looks like this.
We also have a 29 gallon tank full of tropical fish at our house. We have lots of neon tetras, calico plecostomuses, blood-fin tetras, cory catfish, fancy guppies, and flame gouramis, but our favorite pet in the fish tank is the African frog. Frogs are fun to watch as they swim around, but we keep losing them to ick. We keep getting new ones because we like them so much, but we need to find a way to keep them alive longer.
In the past we've had other pets, including cats named Woody, Jessica, Becca, Willie, and Missy, toads that we caught out in the yard, hamsters who had a litter of babies, a goldfish named Fluffy, and parakeets. The parakeets looked just like this.
