The two basic reasons why I love my school are my
teacher, voted the #1 teacher in America, and my classmates (Dulcie, Smokey, Shadow, and
Precious).
Hi. My name is Kendra. I am 12 years old and proud to say I'm homeschooled by my mother.
There are many good things about homeschool, like:
* not having to ride on a schoolbus every morning
* staying in one room (no halls)
* no bullies
* a nice and understanding teacher
* extra help
About half of the subjects I take are based on our family's Christian religion and beliefs.
I'm particularly interested in science and in math. I like to always learn new things. When
I was little, I hated reading and didn't know that to get a good job -- or even get into college,
for that matter -- you have to learn to read. My mom and I are both set on my getting a good
education.
I feel privileged being homeschooled, because most of my friends that go to public school think
I'm so lucky...and I am.
But deep down, I'm just a normal 7th grader...
...along with extras!
School is fun,
But my story
is not yet
done....
