Misc: The masonite/skatelite ramps were donated by ESPN'S X-Games, they are left-over ramps not used in Beaverton skateboarding park. It's a very simple park, just two quarter pipes and one very tall pyramid but the transitions and spacing of the ramps make for great fun! If your backyard is big enough, copy this park for a park of your own. Picnic tables to sit at right next to the park. There is a drinking fountain and nice restrooms not too far away in the main Memorial Park. Memorial Park is a very nice park with terrific tennis and basketball courts, a playground and lots of playing fields. There are nice hiking paths. Go ahead and bring the little kids but please obey the rule of thumb concerning young and inexperienced skaters and try and leave the park before noon.
