STATS
Info current as of: 12-22-01 Last visit date: 12-22-01 When opened:_____ Who built:_______ Size: Mid-size Difficulty: 4 (On a scale of 1-5, 5 being difficult) Fun: Fun, very fast, lots of different lines Helmets: Recommended but not required, always bring one just in case. Bikes: Yes, but not many. Supervised: No. Hours Open: School Days: 2:30pm-8pm, Other: 8am-dusk. Lights for night: No. Covered: No. Cleanliness: Fair, except after a rainstorm when it fills with mud and gravel. Friendliness: Seemed fine. Misc: Because this park is so fast and has so many different lines, COLLISIONS ARE A BIG POSSIBILITY! I saw many close calls and one collison-my 15 year old son plowed down the little girl pictured here, bruising her and scaring both of them. Lots of things to catch air off of, not much to grind. This park is actually built on the Middle school's property. No drinking fountain, although a very nice mystery someone sometimes maintains a large igloo-cooler-drink container, for all to use. One iffy porta-potty. I wouldn't bring small or inexperienced kids here, it's too dangerous because of the speed and lines the good skaters are ripping. If you choose to bring young or inexperienced skaters to any skateboarding park, please try and finish before noon. |
