STATS
Size: HUGE!!! Probably the biggest you'll find on the west coast.
Difficulty: From "Expert only," to "Barney in-lines." There are some parts that are not for the faint of heart, like the 12' high quarter-pipe wall ride and 12' deep hidden bowl, which cause even the best to think twice. Yet, far enough away from where the experts play, is the smaller, simpler section of the park, still built beautifully but fine for beginners. And, spanning the two areas are what seem like miles of mid-range challenge and fun-fun-FUN!
Fun: Oh, my gosh. This place is a dream come true. Actually, I think it's better than any skater could even dream! This place is so big, so varied, so well put together, so smooth, so challenging, so...get the picture?
Cleanliness: Spotless.
Friendliness: This seems like one of the friendliest parks I've been too. I think it's because most people skating it are euphoric, they have found Utopia and it's hard to feel grouchy in Utopia.
Mis: First, one thing kinda unusual about this park is that it has a live in caretaker. This guy obviously loves the park and is always walking around it, monitoring what's going on. He makes sure helmets are worn. No garbage is left on the ground, and if it rains, he will make everyone get off the park 'cus it's too slippery and dangerous. I have seen him jump on people for using bad language or being rude. The guy lives right there. His house is on the grounds. He is a big, burly dude, and he gets and deserves respect. Be nice to this guy or you won't get to skate.

There is a concession stand, that usually has someone selling candy. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. There are several porta-potties. A drinking fountain. Lots of picnic tables. A nice BMX dirt bike track is beside the skatepark, I think it may be private, club owned or something and may costs money to use. Pack a picnic and bring the kids, but make sure the young ones stay in the end of the park near the picnic tables! It is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS anywhere else in the park for the young and/or inexperienced, the park is deep and it is impossible for a zooming pro to see a tiny tyke on the other side of some of the huge bumps, or in the deep bowls. I'm not saying the area near the picnic tables is a "day care," the experts play here too, so watch your kids carefully, make sure they know to let the big boys have the right of way.
