Misc: This little skatepark is rough indeed! It's a mix of steel, masonite, plywood and concrete. Some of the little ramps look like copies of Beaverton's but on a mini-scale. Guess what: if you make a great-to-skate ramp tiny, it is no longer great to skate. Size does matter. There is a surprise, gargantuan, steel 1/2 pipe with no ladder to get to the platform, holes rotted through the platform and the coping sticks up like a barrier instead of being skate-able. This creature is extremely scarey to skate, that's probably why my son liked it so much. Like I said, despite all it's downfalls, the group of skaters I brought had a blast here, just goes to show, you never know till you get out and try it. No restrooms, drinking fountain or payphone.
