Info current as of: 9-4-01. Last visit date: Opening, 6-24-00. Molalla SP Website: Click here to visit. Size: Small. Difficulty: 2-3 (On a scale of 1-5, 5 being difficult) Helmets: Recommended but not required. Always bring one just incase. Bikes: No. Hours open: Dawn to Dusk. Lights for night: No. Supervised: Not constantly but Selena and others check the park and maintain it several times each day. Covered: No. Fun: Well, a skatepark is better than no skatepark. Too much transition on the walls. Great, if you live in Molalla. Molalla is currently working on enlarging and repairing the problems. |
Cleanliness: Spotless, brand new as of June 24, 2000 Friendliness: Hard to say, we were here on opening day, so it was packed. Misc: We were here for the grand opening, so the place was packed. There were way too many people for the size of the park. It was hard for the less experienced boarder's to get a chance to skate. The one thing that seemed to be a big attraction was skating around the park, on the wall, and jumping off the wall, onto the sidewalk about 5' below. Kinda dangerous, due to pedestrians, though. The biggest problem was with the walls, made them waaaay too steep. I wouldn't bring young, inexperienced skater's here, I don't think there is too much for them to skate. There are restrooms in a park nearby. |
